Job Summary:
It is your duty to provide a highly satisfying customer experience. You must engage and interact with every customer, live up to the customer experience principles and philosophy, and keep the store environment neat and orderly. obeys all guidelines for loss prevention, operations, and goods. To support the needs of the company, employees may be cross-trained to work in various departments throughout the store.
Responsibilities:
- Involving both internal and external customers, role models established customer experience practises.
- Supports and exemplifies a favourable store culture by being honest, ethical, and respectful.
- Counts change back to customer and accurately rings customer purchases and returns in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Encourages the use of credit and loyalty programmes when interacting with customers
- Follows established merchandising procedures and standards and upholds the merchandising philosophy.
- Processing and preparing goods for the sales floor accurately in accordance with corporate policies and standards
- Maintains all organisational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and takes part in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store as necessary throughout the day.
- Continuously offers and accepts praise and critical remarks
- Obeys all labour laws, regulations, and guidelines
- Supports and takes part in programmes and goals aimed at reducing store shrinkage.
- Engages in safety education and the upkeep of a risk-free environment
- Performs additional tasks as directed
Requirements:
- Punctuality is REQUIRED in order to carry out this role.
- With the ability to work two weekends per month, this position calls for 15 to 25 hours per week. ESSENTIAL to a job's success.
- Must be able to perform assigned tasks while engaging in highly professional customer interaction.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to support business needs Excellent customer service skills
- Has excellent organisational skills and pays close attention to detail; is able to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Able to react appropriately to direction changes or unexpected circumstances
- Strong communication abilities
- Able to lift hefty objects with or without a reasonable adjustment
- Works well with coworkers and managers to complete tasks
- Preference for retail customer experience
