Job Overview

The delivery station is the last stop before we deliver smiles to customers, and you'll be a part of the committed Amazon team there. Our physically demanding, fast-paced roles unload trucks full of orders and then get them ready for delivery. Conveyor belts will be loaded, and deliveries will be transported and staged for pickup by drivers. You might even be assigned to a team that deals with larger items like large screen TVs, furniture, and appliances and trained on how to handle these bulky, heavy items using technology.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Some of your responsibilities might be:
• Obtain and get ready for delivery the inventory
• Use technology to prepare orders by sorting, scanning, and using handheld devices like smartphones.
• For some tasks, observe the instructions on screens and follow them.
• Create, enclose, classify, and move pallets and packages
• Take delivery trucks

Additionally, you must be able to

• Lift 49 pounds maximum
• During shifts, one must stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Move objects with the aid of carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other equipment.
• Climb and descend stairs (where applicable)
• Work on a mezzanine at a height of up to 40 feet (where applicable)
