SYNOPSIS GENERAL

Observes and keeps track of situations, things, or people that might call for police intervention, and acts in accordance with established policies, rules, and regulations.

Primary responsibilities and duties

1. Conducts security patrols of the client's buildings and grounds on foot and in vehicles. observes and keeps track of any circumstances, things, or people that might call for police intervention. restricting access to packages and checking them as people enter and leave buildings. reports any and all violations of the law, safety, or security.

2. Upholds all parking and traffic laws on the client's property. assures the preservation of all fire and bus lanes. controls access to parking garages and lots while directing traffic. helps drivers with automotive issues.

3. Responds to service requests from the security. investigates occurrences and mishaps. collects facts and evidence. Notifies the proper authorities or superiors and requests backup support as needed.

4. Participates in all team responses to fire calls. during patrols, inspect fire extinguishers and fire safety measures. directs fire crews and equipment to the appropriate locations or extinguishes fires.

5. Conducts searches, makes arrests, physically restrains visitors or criminal suspects, and transports suspicious individuals as needed. testifies at hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.

6. By the end of the tour of duty, prepare and submit reports and logs of all incidents, investigations, and activities.

7. keeps an eye on a security camera system. accompanies various workers, cashiers, customers, and guests to parking lots.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

HIGHER EDUCATION: A high school diploma required.
